What is a denture ?Dentures are a removable prosthesis used for replacing missing teeth. Types A) Partial Dentures are used to replace one or more missing teeth.It is usually made of metal frame with attached teeth.Incase of small span a flexible metal free denture is used B)Complete Dentures are used to replace entire complement of teeth. It is made of acrylic base with acrylic teeth attached to it. Sometime a metal base is used depending upon the case and patient choice C) Immediate dentures are generally placed following extraction of teeth.These dentures may require replacement/relining after a period of 3-4 months. 
A patient witout any natural teeth A set of upper and lower dentures (completely edentulous) constructed for the same patient Number of Visits Usually 6-7 visits are required, spread over a period of two weeks.
