1) Dr. Aquaviva S.
Fernandes
Graduated(B.D.S) from
Goa Dental College and Hospital, Govt. of Goa, in 1993.He was an awardee
of the best all round Graduate Trophy. He stood 14th
at All India Post Graduate Entrance exam conducted by Director of Health
Services, New Delhi. Thereafter he completed post graduation(M.D.S) in
Prosthodontics at the prestigious Government Dental College, Mumbai ( Bombay)
in the year 1997.He has also undergone extensive training in implant dentistry.
Joined as a
Lecturer at P.N.M.N. Dental College, Bagalkot, Karnataka, in 1997, where in he
trained graduates in the subject of Prosthetic Dentistry.In 1998, he took up a
position of Lecturer in his parent institute ( Goa Dental College and Hospital
) where in he was responsible for supervising the under graduate prosthodontic
studies and also evaluating and grading the clinical work of students.During
his position as a lecturer he taught removable and fixed prosthodontics and
guided research activities .In 2003 he was promoted to the position of
Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics, Goa Dental
College and Hospital and a Coordinator in the division of oral
Implantology.
He has
published several articles in both national and international journals like
Journal of Prosthetic dentistry,International Journal of Prosthodontics,
British Dental Journal,Journal of Clinical Paediatric dentistry,Endodontology,Indian
Journal of Dental Reasearch ,Journal of Indian Dental Association,Journal of
Indian Society of Prosthodontics.
With his Academic
Knowledge and clinical skills he has treated various cases ranging
from restoration of mutilated dentition,implant restoration to smile
designing.
2)Dr. Rosemond L.
D'souza
Graduated from Goa
Dental College and Hospital following which he was appointed as a resident
doctor at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, Govt.
Dental College and Hospital, Goa and has undergone extensive training in
Exodontia.He has got extensive experience in the management of Maxillofacial
trauma. Therafter he served as a dental surgeon at military dental centre
( E.C.H.S. polyclinic) Panaji, Goa.
